The events dataset is the canonical structured source behind every weekly summary on this site. It is updated each Sunday and exposed as JSON for direct consumption by AI agents, research scripts, and downstream analyses.
Each entry has fields: id, date (ISO),
lane (one of seven topic lanes), type
(e.g. launch, ruling, research), title,
summary, source_url, source_name,
importance (1–5), added_in_week
(the ISO week slug when the event entered the register).
Every event is scored 1–5 by the editorial pipeline. Only events scoring 2 or higher reach the weekly summary; the dataset includes lower-scored entries for completeness so downstream consumers can apply their own threshold.
